Nature

Nature is a thing I learn to appreciate when I got into photography and more especially when I discovered the Culpeper garden is Islington. It was a revelation. I can still spend hours in that park snapping flower, bees, plants and trees. I even used a picture taken there to take part in the Wildlife Photography Award organized by the city of London in 2012 and received a very nice camera (you’ll allow me a bit of gloating) that ended up with my parents and that they lost for a year. They recently found it in my late grandmother’s fridge (hopefully the fridge wasn’t on). It’s like buying paisley to a 6-year-old. But anyway, I’m happy to leave it there so that one day, maybe, my niece or my nephew will dabble into photography and will learn to love this tiny city of Enval, near Volvic, where my parents moved after selling the family home and where I furthered my love for capturing nature but unfortunately not for living amongst it.

Take it or leave, I’m a city man. And a cat lady.
